Christina joined Jordan Creek Animal Hospital as Hospital Manager in May 2014. She graduated from Grand View University with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management in 2009.
Christina and her husband Aaron are blessed with an amazing son, Garrett. They also have three Jack Russell Terrier mix pups named Woody, Jack Jack, and Bella and a long haired teacup Chihuahua named Hazel Nutt. Christina loves spending time with her family, traveling, fundraising events, and cooking.
Madison, also known as Madi, graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Ecology, Pre-Vet and Wildlife Care, and a Minor in Animal Science. Madison worked at the Iowa State University Horse Barn for two years, interned at the Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation in San Antonio, Texas, and volunteered for three years at the Wildlife Care Clinic in Ames. Prior to joining JCAH in August of 2016, Madison was a supervisor at Hormel in Algona, Iowa, but relocated to the Des Moines area with her husband, Justen. Madison enjoys spending time with family, baking, shopping, kayaking, and fishing. Madison has two dogs, Amelia and Dexter, a cat named Chester, two guinea pigs, Frank and Hank, three fish, and four snails.
Holly was born and raised in Lake Mills, Iowa. She has served in the Army National Guard since 2009 and she even plays the keyboard in an Army rock band! She received her undergraduate degree from Iowa State University and moved on to receive her Masters in Music from the University of Northern Iowa. Before joining the JCAH team, she worked at Tails Doggy Daycare in Boston, Massachusetts. She also was a piano instructor at the University of Dubuque, as well as at Northeast Iowa School of Music.
Hobbies and interests that keep Holly busy include, music, reading, geocaching, enjoying the outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and learning all about animals. She has two guinea pigs at home named Phoebe and Izzy, whom she thoroughly enjoys!
Terri was born in Arizona but has spent the majority of her life in West Des Moines, Iowa. She attended Simpson College, where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration. She worked in the corporate world for 30 years before taking some time off. When she decided to go back to work, she wanted it to be for something that she was passionate about--animals! Just before joining the JCAH Team, she had the opportunity to volunteer at the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah!
Terri has had at least one cat at all times throughout her life. She currently is a fur-mom to Gracie, her Euro Boxer, and two cats,Bosco and Dash. Her animals are her “kids”. Hobbies of Terri’s include, riding motorcycles, music, traveling, volunteering, and spending time with family and friends.Please help us welcome Terri to the JCAH Team as our relief receptionist!
Katie grew up on the Southside of Des Moines and moved to Cumming with her family after 7th grade. She is the youngest of four and the only girl in her family. Her twin brother is two minutes older than her! When her family moved to Cumming, they did so to have more land, which soon became filled with animals. She still has her very first horse too, a mini, named Hurcules. She also has goats that eat pretty much anything and everything! Katie graduated from Martensdale-St. Mary’s. In 2010 she went on to study culinary arts at the Iowa Culinary Institute in Ankeny and graduated with her Culinary Arts degree in 2013. She has previously worked at boarding facilities in Ankeny and West Des Moines. Katie loves to bake and DIY projects. She is an avid Pinterest enthusiast! She has one Dachshund-Shitzu mix, Charlie, whom has more cat traits than dog traits!
